Traveling Information

Below, you find a map of the city of Amsterdam. In the south-west corner you can see the international airport Schiphol. The hotels as well as the Chapel of St. Agnes (were the conference takes place) are all located in the area enclosed by the blue rectangle. A detailed map of this area can be obtained by clicking inside that rectangle.

In the north-east corner you find the village Broek in Waterland, were the conference dinner will take place.

How to reach your hotel?

• By taxi: This takes 20-40 minutes depending on the trafic and costs about 70-80 NLG.
• By public transport:This means that you first travel from Schiphol to the central station of Amsterdam. From there you can reach your hotel by tram. There are 2 ways to travel to the central station of Amsterdam:
  • By train: There is a trainstation at the airport (on a walking distance from the plane arrivals). About every 10 minutes, there is a train to the central station of Amsterdam The estimated traveling time is 15-20 minutes. A ticket costs NLG 10.75.
  • By bus:There is a KLM shuttle connection that leaves every 30 minutes. This takes 40-60 minutes depending on the trafic and costs NLG 17.50 (retour: NLG 30.00). This alternative is interesting for people staying in Tulip Inn (Spuistraat) because this bus passes the Spuistraat and stops at the Tulip Inn on request.
