Paper Submission

The HPCN Europe 2001 event invites authors to submit their papers containing new and original results related to one of the four main themes of the Conference announced in the HPCN Europe 2001 page.

You may submit:
  • a full paper (6 to 10 pages A4) for an oral presentation,
  • or a short paper (2 to 4 pages A4) for a poster presentation.
Your paper will be reviewed taking into account:
  • relevance to HPCN 2001,
  • significance of results,
  • originality,
  • technical accuracy, and
  • readability.

After acceptance the papers will be published in the HPCN 2001 proceedings in the Springer Verlag series Lecture Notes in Computer Science. The best papers of the conference will also be published in a special issue of the Future Generation Computer Systems (

Important Dates

Attention ! dates have been changed!

Because of the GRID forum taking place in Amsterdam from March 5 - 7 HPCN Europe had to change towards June 25 - 27, 2001. Therefore several other important dates have changed as well:
  • February 2, 2001 : final (!) deadline for receipt of papers to be reviewed
  • March 16, 2001 : notification of acceptance
  • April 23, 2001 : deadline for paper submission for proceedings
  • June 25 - 27, 2001 : HPCN Europe 2001 event
