How to get to WTCW
From Airport:
From Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol) take the train from the airport railway station to the Amsterdam Central Station or to Amsterdam Amstel Station. From there, you can follow the instructions under 'Public Transport'. Also in the airport you can rent a car or take a taxi to get to the WTCW (travelling time about 25 minutes, cost about Dfl. 60).
By Car:
- Take the ringroad of Amsterdam called "Ring A10".
- Take exit S113, direction Watergraafsmeer (from Utrecht/Den Haag after the exit turn left, from Zaandam/Amersfoort turn right).
- Turn right after the third traffic light (crossing Middenweg/Kruislaan) and follow Kruislaan until after the railroad crossing (about 1km). The WCTW campus is on your left through the gate.
(The first traffic light is at the exit of the ring, the second one just 100 meters further, and the third one is where the houses on the right side of the street start.)
By Public Transport:
- From the Amsterdam Central station:
- Take the train or the metro to the Amsterdam Amstel station (see above).
or as an alternative
- Take tramway number 9 till the stop at the corner of Middenweg and Kruislaan (+-15 min ride).
Walk down the Kruislaan in the direction of the railway bridge. Cross under the bridge and continue. (15 min walk all together). The WCTW campus is on your left through the gate
- Taxi
- There are taxi stops near all railway stations. Also you can order one by telephone (020)-6777777.
* From Central Station, it takes about 15 minutes, aprox. 25 guilders
* From Amstel Station, it takes about 5 minutes, aprox. 15 guilders
* From Airport, it takes about 25 minutes, aprox. 60 guilders
