The InterNetworking Event 1998

IT'S ON THE MOVE

21-22-23 APRIL 1998

The most important ICT fair in Benelux is on the move.

The most important ICT fair in Benelux is on the move. Development, growth and dynamism: three keywords that describe the process of change which information technology and communications technology are undergoing. As a leading meeting place for decision-makers and experts in this field, The InterNetworking Event fulfils a central role in this process. And this role within the ICT profession is not mere wishful thinking. The evidence is crystal-clear in the increasing investment power of those who visit the fair, the steady and marked rise in visitor numbers, the rising quality of the visitor profile, the fair's increasing scope and The InterNetworking Event's prominent position in the market place. And not least the fact that 80% of the space available for the next fair was already booked by April 1997. If you have made your booking, that is good news. You're assured of being "on the move" towards cementing present business relation-ships and nurturing new ones at The InterNetworking Event '98. If you are currently still considering registering, do not delay too long as the exhibition space still available is limited.

ON THE MOVE IN…

Investment strength

Decision-making units of large companies are increasingly represented at

the fair. 86% of all visitors in 1997 were concerned with investment

plans. Partly as a result of this, the investment figure which can be

related to the fair rose to NLG 1.5 billion in 1997. Given the consistent

upward trend this budget will certainly be higher in 1998.

Visitor numbers

Since the fair started in 1991 the number of visitors has risen by no less

than 214% to 17,313 in 1997, and for 1998 an even higher figure is expected

with no deterioration in visitor quality.

Visitor profile

Over three-quarters of the visitors work in the private sector. A quarter

of the visitors in 1997 represented organizations with a thousand or more

employees.

Scope

Hundreds of professionally-focused visitors at your stand. Surveys show

that over half of them are new contacts.

The Market

The ICT market is growing. General Management is becoming increasingly

closely involved in computerisation aspects. ICT is becoming increasingly

important in more and more business sectors and functions, creating clear

scoring chances for companies in the field of ICT products, services and

management consultancy. An important part of this game is being played at

The InterNetworking Event '98.

A movement that goes beyond the pure ICT professional.

Adequate information and rapid communication are important in more and

more functions and business sectors. This is causing interest in ICT to

expand outside the world of computerisation and telecommunications

specialists to decision-makers who have both strategic and management

responsibilities. The visitor numbers of these generalists have been

rising in recent years. The InterNetworking Event '98 offers this new

visitor target group, and those exhibiting to it, a widened focus within

an established professional event. Even more so than in previous years

this leading event will attract managers from large companies in trading,

distribution, government, banking, insurance and many other sectors.

For exhibitors such as IT management consultants, accountancy firms, EDP

auditors and companies engaged in education and training, The Inter-

Networking Event '98 is therefore an outstanding opportunity to make

effective contact with this generalist target group.

Moving your business onwards?

For you as a provider of ICT products, services and management

consultancy, The InterNetworking Event '98 is the business tool that

brings together all the factors for success, from both the quantitative and the

qualitative points of view. Given the enormous growth of the ICT market

and your commercial ambitions in it, your participation in this professional

event must be a foregone conclusion.
