Expertise :
She has experience in the design, synthesis, photochemical and photophysical properties of large (supra)molecular systems such as polynuclear compounds linked by saturated and conjugated bridging ligands, dendrimers, molecular switches.  In general, the purpose of the work has been the development of functional systems able to respond to an external stimulus such e.g. light.
She has industrial collaborations with Philips Research on electroluminescent  materials,  and with Roche  Diagnostics on luminescent probes.
Her scientific activity is documented by several seminars and invited lectures in Europe, in Japan, in the United States and in China.

She has several collaboration with European (e.g. University of Bonn, University of Regensburg, University of Muenster, University of Birmingham, University of Ferrara, Dublin City University, University of Nijmegen, University of Bordeaux, University of Marseilles) and American Universities (e.g. UCLA, Los Angeles). She has 95 publications in international journals, 2 patents, 2 chapters in books, and 2 edited book.
