Master (MSc) programmes of IBED
The Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics is closely involved in three international Master programmes: Earth Sciences, Ecology and Evolution, and Limnology and Oceanography. All three are advanced study programmes taught in English that offer prospects for exciting careers in science or society.

High ranking for UvA masters Earth Sciences and Biological Sciences
The master programmes Earth Sciences and Biological Sciences of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) both received a high ranking in the ‘Keuzegids Masters 2011’ that was published on 8 February 2011. The rankings of this independent, annual publication are based on a combined assessment by students and experts of all master programmes in The Netherlands.

Earth Sciences and Mathematics get high scores in 'Elsevier'
The Dutch weekly news magazine Elsevier recently published its annual comparison of popular Bachelor’s and Master’s study programmes at Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences. Earth Sciences and Mathematics came first in the student rankings with an average mark of 7.1 and 7.4 respectively.
