KdVI participates in two national NWO research clusters:
- Stochastics – Theoretical and Applied Research (STAR), which started in 2009. The KdVI project leader is prof. dr. Michel Mandjes. STAR will finance two UD positions at KdVI during 2 years, starting 2010: one in stochastic processes and stochastic operations research with prof. dr. Michel Mandjes, and one in stochastic processes and financial mathematics with dr. Peter Spreij.
- Geometry and Quantum Theory (GQT), which started in 2006. The KdVI project leader is prof. dr. Eric Opdam. Several new permanent positions at KdVI were financed by GQT for some years.
We refer to our annual reports for information about other projects funded by NWO or industry.
