The central problem addressed in this article is the applicability of the theoretical methods, in particular the Landau-Zener theory, to the explanation of chemi-ionisation in collision processes. In order to solve that problem, a specific goal is formulated: the measurement and calculation of the different cross sections for those processes.
The central problem is derived from the abstract and the section Introduction, which explicitly states why the current collision process was studied. We have rephrased the text, to make it coherent.
