THEMES

The focus of HPCN Europe '97 will be on Advanced Solutions for Industry, Research and Education based on Workstations, Servers, High Performance Systems, and Networks. HPCN Europe aims in particular to show the importance of HPCN technology for the industrial end-users.

LOCATION AND DATES

Vienna, Austria:

The Austrian Federal capital is a city of many faces and aspects. The former imperial metropolis, whose art treasures and splendid monumental buildings are a permanent reminder of the imperial era when Vienna was the capital of the Danube Monarchy; the citadel of culture, in which the greatest composers in history lived and worked: the modern United Nations headquarters city in the heart of Europe, with a worldwide reputation as an international meetingplace. But the Danube metropolis is also famed for its quality of life, the pleasures of experience and a relaxed atmosphere - that typical Viennese flair which characterises its traditional institutions like the cafes and Heurigen taverns.
