Masterteam

The MasterTeam (MT) consists of a number of lecturer from the IvI. The current coordinators are : dr. Th. Gevers and drs. A. arnoud. The MT provides the lecturers for the masterprogram and the master-mentors, additional lecturers are provided by the Institutes. Presently, the master team has the following additional lecturers: Prof. dr. ir. F.C.A. Groen, Prof. M. Kersten, Prof. dr ir A.W.M. Smeulders, Dr. N. Vlassis and Dr. ir. B. Kröse. The coordination with the program office is done by Master coordinators.

Mentor system

Due to the complicated problems that can occur during a transition and to remove deficiencies a personal approach and monitoring is needed for each individual student. Each student will have a staff member assigned as a mentor. The mentor will assert any deficiencies together with the student and assist the student with the removal of these deficiencies. The mentor will also assist in with the selection of courses and graduation project. The mentor reports also on the progress of the student in the MT.
