SOAP Encoding Discussion

I think in few discussions we have had with Bas there has been some confusion between rcp/encoded, document/literal and two-way and one-way messaging. RCP/encoded and document/literal refer to the _content_ (formatting) of the SOAP body, as I have mentioned few times. On the other hand messagging (two way or two way) refers to the _flow_ of data.

Encoding and messaging is nicely described in the article:
http://www.awprofessional.com/articles/article.asp?p=169106&seqNum=5

I also think I had already sent you the following:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/ws-whichwsdl/
that deals with the coding style of the SOAP body.

The way to define the _flow_ type is very well explained here:
http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl#_porttypes

And another on the advantages of using document style
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/ws-docstyle.html

I am swamping you with documentation. But I have the impression there has been quite a confusion on this and if we understand it well it might be a good basis for 10 minute "clarification lecture" that we (you?) can give during our meetings on Tue.
