Tom Compton presented Analytic Cycling, a web site for evaluating cycling performance. A person supplies data through any web browser and the computer returns results, typically in the form of a plot or table. Try some of the examples above to see it work. Analytic Cycling is a MathScript application. MathScript makes it possible to deliver a numerical, symbolic, or technical computing application to anyone anywhere in the world that has a web browser, with no need for the user to supply or install software. The Bicycle Project Workshop expects to publish some of its results this way. Analytic Cycling methods, which make extensive use of differential equations and advanced numerical methods, respond in real time, characteristically returning tables and plots as products of the methods. The samples above are typical. Try them, click on the forms. Change the form data. See results for yourself. "Analytic Cycling, no-compromise tools for analyzing cycling performance."
