Sinusoidal Oscillations

By the vertical displacement of a piston-like rod, the vibration exciter generated sinusoidal oscillations. The amplitude of vibration is defined as the maximum positive or negative displacement of the rod from its stationary position. This is demonstrated in the movie below.
