Scientific Advisory Council (SAC)

In the course of 2007, the dean of the FNWI has, for the first time in ITFA’s history, appointed a Scientific Advisory Council (SAC). Its distinguished members are prof. J. Cardy (Oxford University), prof. E. Fradkin (University of Illinois at Urbana) and prof. S. Shenker (Stanford University). In June 2008 the SAC has conducted a mid-term research evaluation. In addition, the SAC serves as external conscience to the institute and will offer advice where appropriate.
