About our group
The Scientific Visualization and Virtual Reality (SVVR) group is part of the Computational Science research group of the University of Amsterdam. The research in this group touches on many different subjects, including; interactive distributed exploration environments, problem solving environments, high-performance visualization, interactive Grid-based architectures, interaction methods, and usability studies.
Our group works closely with the visualization group of SARA Computing and Networking Services.
We also organize a course on Scientific Visualization and Virtual Reality in the International Master Computational Science (IMCS).
