Neutron Scattering Studies of Magnetism and Superconductivity
Prof. Stephen Hayden

Neutron scattering has proved to be an extremely powerful probe of condensed matter. In the first part of this talk I will give an introduction and short history of neutron scattering - Reviewing briefly the sorts of experiments which can be done at neutron scattering facilities. In the second part I will describe some of the contributions neutron scattering has made to the understanding the physics of conventional and unconventional superconductors.
