In the first new round for
proposals, the FOM-UB has decided to fund the proposal "Rheophysics:
Connecting Jamming and Rheology", a joint programme between the Soft Matter
group at the WZI (Peter Schall and Daniel Bonn), the VU, UT, UU, TUD and
Leiden University as programme Leader (Martin van Hecke).
The proposal aims at
understanding the link between the microscopic organization and macroscopic
flow behavior of materials such as foams, suspensions emulsions etc.
