The impact of field stars on star clusters

We are trying to measure the effect of a field star injected into a small (20 bodies) star cluster. We are studying the effect on the field star as well as the effect on the original cluster. The parameters for the initial conditions are:

1. the speed of the incoming field star
2. the mass of the incoming field star

We use StarLab for the simulations. The initial star cluster is a sphere with equal masses, created with makesphere.

The parameters we would like to study are:

1. the change in speed of the injected field star
2. the probability of capture of the field star into the cluster
3. the change in lagrangian radius of the initial cluster
4. the change in average speed of the particles in the initial cluster.
