Family matters

Bringing family

Family can play an important role in your new home in the Netherlands. Bringing family is possible but depends on your income or financial resources. The standard amounts to be met are stipulated by the IND annually.

Bringing your spouse and children to the Netherlands requires careful preparation, whether they come with you or after. The faculty Human Resource office can give advice and assistance in either cases and in visa and residence permit applications.

Childcare regulations, facilities and contributions

Child care includes day care (children from age 0 to 4),after-school care and host-parent care (children from age 4 to 12).
