Introduction
ALIE is an acronym for "Advanced Logistics Information Exchange". This project is part of the Dutch innovation program 'Connekt'. [@] To share as much as possible of the progress inside this project, we have created this site. This page only contains a short and static introduction to the project, the latest progress can be found on the following pages:

The project started with as an student-project with the following description [@]. The project evolved into a multidisciplinair project, with the following description.
In this explorative study, a new way of information exchange between logistic companies will be researched. The intention is to increase the transparantie inside logistic chains. The goal of the project is to demonstrate the potention of a distributed environment to exchange logistic information. The feasability and the applicability of such environment shall be verified with a simple prototype.
