GARLIC-BREAD - Addictive and fattening garlic bread
This recipe is from The Garlic Lover's Cookbook, which is a
must for all folks interested in keeping vampires away.
250 g butter, softened
200 g parmesan cheese, grated
100 g mayonnaise
5 garlic cloves minced or pressed
50 ml fresh parsley, chopped
2.5 ml oregano
1 loaf French bread, (baguette), cut lengthwise
(1) Preheat oven to 190 deg. C.
(2) Mix all ingredients except the bread together in a
bowl.
(3) Spread the mixture onto the French bread.
(4) Wrap bread in aluminium foil.
(5) Bake for 20 minutes.
(6) Unwrap and place under broiler to brown.
We never finish the last step. By the time we have the stuff
unwrapped, we just have to eat it!
Difficulty: easy. Time: preparation: 10 minutes, cooking:
25 minutes. Precision: No need to measure.
