I would like to share some Zappa midifiles I gathered since the time I
began to listen to Franks music 1974. I edited them into "Cubase" from
various sources I found in magazines like Keyboard and such. The very short
"Gruenfinger" appeared as Franks tribute to the first number of a viennese
monthly magazine, then called "Basta". Back in 1979 or 1980 it tried to
become sort of a subcultural alternative paper with contributions from
Andre Heller, Otto Gruenmandl and Peter Turrini, but evolved into a
splatter/junk/something for trendy shitheads, who like to drive Jeeps and
Rovers in the city, utilize Playboy stickers, handy phones and goldchains.

I am a composer myself, trying to make music, that no one has heard before
(no trekkie pun intended) and if someone has the curiosity for that kind of
entertainment (maybe to make some music together) feel free to contact me.
I enclose my internet adress herewith, but I am not sure, that I can obtain
whatever someone sends me that way, so here is my post adress anyway.

What drives me:
After I read the interview of Eddie van Halen with Dweezil Zappa in the
March '95 GuitarPlayer, I was so excited, I dreamt to learn to play the
guitar, even though I am just a "Schreibtischtaeter", editing away on the
computer keyboard and no blazing axe swinger. The next day I bought the
latest EVH album "Balance" I could not believe that this was the music the
two had spoken of! Even when I listen to Steve Vai's CDs, there are moments
(maybe they are necessary to build tension) when I am bored.
Why can't all music be like "Amnerica" from "Civilization Phase III" or
"Navanax"? I try to get my music out of my head and into the sequencer or
sampler or tape or whatever. I try to re-invent MUSIC, maybe like Olivier
Messiaen did, or Schoenberg, Frank Zappa, Webern and so many other notables
