Zappa on Letterman

I saw Zappa and Moon Unit together on Letterman back around '89 or so. Moon did most of the talking in that jabbery teenage brainless way, and she was talking about Ahmet wanting to change his name because the kids at school were calling him "Ahmet, Vomit!". When Letterman asked what he wished his new name to be, Zappa just sneered and muttered, "Rick!" Then Moon chimes in, "Now they call him 'Rick the Dick!!'" She was censored, but Letterman got a kick out of it.

I remember this ... I seem to remember that Moon then said that Ahmet went back to "Ahmet" and then Frank said something like "and now they call him "Ahmet the Dick".

At least, that's how my roommate and I remembered it ... we would occasionally call each other as "Ahmet the Dick".
