History

Previous workshops took place as part of the Human Capital and Mobility research project Statistical Inference for Stochastic Processes (1994-1996), financed under The Fourth Framework Programme (FP4) of the European Commission and of the activities of the Research Training Network DYNSTOCH (2000-2004), financed under the programme Improving Human Potential of The Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) of the European Commission. The workshops have been continued in between and after termination of these European projects. The network has submitted a new research proposal under the name TASMAN in 2005, but it has not been selected for funding in FP6. A proposal for an Initial Training Network in FP7 is under consideration.
