How to make sake .

I've got now a few years experience in the concept of making this Japanese rice wine. It is very easy to do, it only takes a lot of patience. This is however no punishment, as your room will constantly have that nice smell generated by the fermentation process. (Oke, I have to admit some of my roommates did not agree about this point ). Too quickly bringing the sake in the bottles, will transform these into time-bombs !!!
The process of making alcohol takes almost as much time as doing the quantum mechanical simulation of it. (see my research ).
The sake -page was made by a friend of mine, Hans Piest, who I gave the recipe.

Physics students association in Nijmegen Marie Curie

In my period in Nijmegen I was active in this physics student association. It were famous
times in which the treasure keeper had to buy back the flag from the thief(/ves) with a bottle of
whisky. Some people think that the treasure keeper and the thief were the same!



Home Sweet Home !!!!!

The bell-board of our flat covered the Sum-edition of september 2000 (Sum = a dutch student magazine). I missed my opportunety to fame, because I didn't put my name on the name-plate. For those people who know my roomnumber you can find my code name by clicking on the picture!

When I have learned how to scan I can give here a sort of exposition.
Usually I paint with gouache and acryl, but now I'm participating in a course in oil-painting of CREA,
an association of the UvA and HvA for painting, theater, photography and more.

In Memoriam:

Femke Peeters
Femke was my girl-friend at that time. She died on 21 February 1998 due to a tragic car accident.
"Fem, I'll never forget you, you will always be at a place in my heart."
